North Arm Hall Entry

Hi Physie, Dance and Acro Families,

Very soon our long awaited new entry portico, front stairs and access ramp be built at the North Arm Hall class location!

This means that whilst this construction is underway we will need to use the entrance at the rear of the hall. As of tomorrow (Saturday 25th February) all students will need to walk along the southern side of the building (not the side with the toilet block) to walk around the back of the hall to come directly into the hall via the office and waiting room.

All parents and siblings can wait in the waiting room next to the office. The side area of the hall, behind the mirrors, will only be accessible by students that require supervision or are warming up for the next class. Kindy program parents (3-4 years) will be allowed into this area as normal for the duration of that class. All other classes will be closed. This also helps to reduce noise and disruption to classes and reduces congestion in and around the teaching/supervision areas. The waiting room is not a fully supervised area for juniors – please be sure to remind students that this area is not a playground and that the studio code of conduct regarding behaviour expectations and respect for others still applies.

The main entry to the hall will no longer be used for exit/entry and will be an emergency exit only. To collect students please come around to the back of the hall as students will not be permitted to exit the hall without a guardian.

We aim to pave a pathway in the coming weeks, alongside the hall and around to the back. The grassed back area and the toilet block will also be fenced in shortly with child safety gates at both the rear entry of the hall and the toilet block. Any able hands available to assist with these works will be greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for working bee dates and times.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and observance of these procedures during this time.

Kind Regards,

Miss Julie
